Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently asked questions
-
Probably not.
If you're happy coordinating suppliers, managing budgets, chasing RSVPs, handling timelines, solving problems on the day and answering twenty-seven WhatsApps from your family before breakfast, you'll be absolutely fine.
If that sounds like your personal version of hell, that's where we come in.
-
The short answer? Personal ones.
The long answer? Editorial city weddings, weekend-long house parties, black-tie celebrations, destination weddings, unconventional venues and anything that prioritises personality over tradition.
We don't do copy-and-paste weddings.
-
Cinematic. Dramatic. Editorial. Thoughtful. Slightly rebellious.
We love beautiful things, but we're much more interested in creating experiences than recreating Pinterest boards.
-
For full planning, we typically work with weddings with a minimum budget of £60,000.
Why? Because our fee is 8% of your total wedding spend, and below this level we'd rather see your money spent on creating an incredible wedding than stretching your budget to accommodate a planning service.
We're not interested in encouraging couples to spend more than they need to. We're interested in helping you spend well.
For partial planning and wedding management, your overall budget matters far less, and we're always happy to discuss whether we're the right fit.
-
Honestly? Perfect.
Most couples come to us knowing what they don't want rather than what they do.
That's often where the best ideas begin.
THE PRACTICAL STUFF
-
For full planning, ideally 12+ months in advance.
For on-the-day coordination, 6–12 months is usually ideal.
However, we’ve planned weddings in 4 months in the past so it's always worth asking!
-
Yes.
We're based in Somerset but regularly work throughout the UK and internationally.
-
No.
We'll recommend suppliers we trust, admire and genuinely believe are right for you, but we never operate from a fixed list.
-
Almost certainly.
Venue coordinators manage the venue.
We manage your wedding.
That means suppliers, timelines, styling, logistics, guest experience, problem-solving and making sure you actually get to enjoy the day you've spent months planning.
-
Yes.
We know weddings are a significant investment, so we'll always discuss payment schedules that feel manageable.
THE important questions
-
Then we dance in it.
And activate Plan B.
-
Absolutely.
Kindly, professionally and with solutions attached.
-
Please do.
Tradition is optional.
-
God, we hope so.
-
They usually come around.
And if they don't, we'll still create a wedding that feels unapologetically like you.
-
We don't see ourselves as wedding planners.
We're creative directors, producers, logisticians, problem-solvers and professional over-thinkers.
This isn't wedding planning.
This is creative direction.
